The 3rd Expo took place from 1 June to 30 September: “Food and wine culture, metropolitan fashion and entertainment for children, meet Sicilian Taste, Style and Tradition”, organized by “Riviera di Ponente”, in viale della repubblica in Donnalucata at the “Riviera di Ponente” center. As part of the event, Temporary Shops in the food, beverage, fashion and accessories sectors exhibited.
The program of the summer event was an opportunity to offer the public the opportunity to taste different typical products of the Sicilian and Iblean culinary culture, with tasting stands and entertainment for children by Riviera di Ponente.
Iblea hospitality, the network project made up of tour operators and farms from the municipalities of Ragusa, Modica, Scicli and Ispica, participated in the event on 8 and 9 August, with the setting up of its own stand for the promotion of tourism rural in the province of Ragusa.
Dr. Piero Virderi (coordinator of the Ospitalità Iblea project), Dr. Paolo Ferlisi (administrator of Mediterranea Consulting) and Mr. Giovanni Bracchini (partner of Ospitalità Iblea), presented the mission and initiatives proposed by Ospitalità Iblea to the numerous participants, also offering visitors the opportunity to taste some typical products of the area.
