OSPITALITA’ IBLEA PRESENT WITH ITS OWN CORNER FOR THE PROMOTION AND ENHANCEMENT OF RURAL TOURISM
The conference “Good habits for healthy growth: from nutrition to correct daily habits” took place yesterday, Saturday 19 June, at Villa Penna in Scicli. Among the speakers, prof. Italo Farnetani founder of the Green Flag; Dr. Giuseppe Raffa pedagogist; Dr. Amelia Di Raimondo nutritionist; Prof. Giovanna Manenti – Hygiene Teacher.
The initiative, which met with good public success, was included in the three days (from 18 to 20 June) of the event entitled; “Green Flag – The sea of Montalbano suitable for children – with various itinerant events between Sampieri and the historic center of Scicli, – and was promoted and organized by the Pro Loco of Scicli, by the Kiwaniss Club Scicli and by the Municipality of Scicli.
Iblea Hospitality, the network project made up of tour operators and farms from the municipalities of Ragusa, Modica, Scicli and Ispica, was present at the event with its own corner for the promotion of rural tourism in the province of Ragusa.
In particular, Dr. Piero Piero Virderi (agronomist – project manager – and coordinator of the Iblea Hospitality project) – Giovanni Bracchini (marketing specialist and marketing manager of the Iblea Hospitality project) and Dr. Paolo Ferlisi (administrator of Mediterranea Consulting) presented all the details of the project to the numerous and qualified people present.
